My LIFE Report Card
1) i can mix well with orang asli kids
2) Although I don’t get any flowers from guys, children asked 4 my add. & tel. no
3) I can b really sexy, charming, beautiful & elegant if I want 2!

5) I worked with a group of friends in the making of “7 steps banana” in L6
6) During my schooling years, I never got below 10 in class or in the whole form
7) I achieved 3.86 for my sem grade in the 1st sem. in uni.
8) I have studied in an urban & suburb school
9) I came from a Chinese primary school
10) I participated in numerous sketch performance, either as an actress, asst. director, script writer or narrator
11) I joined a lot of courses & gained useful experience besides meeting ppl from all walks of life
12) I went 4 jungle trekking, abseiling, camping & kayaking
13) I was involved in competitions such as puppet show, cooking, dancing (in groups) & singing besides academic competitions ( exp: quiz, exhibition, debates, public speaking, essay writing, M3,…..)
14) I hv a group of frens by my side when I was desperate & weak
15) I’ve been a monitor, prefect, head girl, treasurer & presidents of diff. clubs
16) I hv a supportive family who accept the real me in whatever I do
17) I hv uncles, aunties & cousins who cared a lot 4 me
18) I know how 2 speak my mother tongue (hokkien) n mandarin
19) I’m alive & there r plenty of possibilities ahead
20) I can work with a group of Malays even though I’m the only Chinese in a committee
21) There r always ppl (seniors n frens) giving me chances 2 improve myself n proceed ahead
22) Once, there was a guy who travelled real far just 2 visit me (I nearly cried when he told me cos’ I wasn’t around when he came)
23) Once, there was a guy who said he was willing 2 wait 4 me – he made me understand that: hey! Lal, u r not that bad aft all!
24) There r always ppl who r willing 2 spend time & listen 2 what I’ve got 2 say
25) I was loved, blessed, & cared by many ppl since the day I was born
26) I’ve been deeply in love with someone, got hurt n somehow manage 2 move on
27) I felt so good after I manage 2 remember how 2 smile, laugh & cry
28) I’ve made things turn out possible when ppl say I can’t do it
29) I hv a somehow satisfied childhood
30) My work hv been published in the papers (7x)
31) I know how 2 take care of myself when my family n close frens r not around
32) I hv plenty of key chains, postcards, stamps n books
33) I know how 2 drive a car (auto + manual)
34) Although I find it hard 2 believe, but there was a guy who fell 4 me even though I have a “boy” hair style (during my years F6)
35) I’ve seen diff. kinds of white, blue, violet, yellow, red n orange when I was on board
36) I’ve seen snow n autumn leaves

38) I hv been to the Disneyland in LA &
39) I hv been to Danau Toba
40) When I don’t hv enough money 2 buy drinks there r ppl who r willing 2 give me 30 cents
41) There r ppl who stopped the bus 4 me when I nearly miss it
42) There is a fren who is willing 2 massage my knee when I fell down from the stairs
43) There is a fren who gave me moon cake when I was far away from home during Mooncake festival
44) There was a middle age woman who gave me 80 cents when I don’t hv enough change 2 pay my bus fare
45) I taught a 6 year old Malay kid 2 speak n write in mandarin (Ika)
46) I can manage a class which consist of 24 six year old kid
47) I helped 2 cook n distribute food in SOS
48) I was a volunteer in a campaign where I helped 2 sell things
49) I was a Chinese student journalist n also a Star BRAT
50) I’ve been lucky 2 hv teachers n lecturers who guided me all this while
51) There is a fren who gave me mee cups as presents when I forgot 2 buy it b4 leaving her country
52) I helped 2 collect donations when a fren’s brother needed it 4 operation
53) I joined in the process of making a concert a possible
54) I was there 4 my frens when they needed me
55) I was there 2 hold a fren’s hand n comfort her when she felt life was hopeless
56) I was selected in the eng. & mandarin news reading which is on air through internet
57) I hv frens who stayed by my side n help me when there r others who don’t believe in me
58) A close fren once touched my eyebrows when she knew I was trembling in the inside
59) I was there 2 listen 2 a fren when she really needed somebody 2 talk 2 her
60) I danced n enjoyed myself in the Bon-Oduri festival
61) I can translate BM & Eng news 2 mandarin
62) There r seniors who r willing 2 give me their notes without asking anything in return
63) There r ppl who r willing 2 borrow their dictionary to me even though we r strangers, they did it just bcos’ they trusted their fren who know me
64) There r ppl who gave me free fruits 4 supper
65) I learnt ways 2 do layout 4 newspaper, magz, newsletter & print ad
66) I know how 2 use softwares like SPSS, Adobe Photoshop, Quark Xpress ect.
67) There is a stranger who volunteered to hold my files while I was trying 2 stand in a steady position on da bus
68) There r frens who offered me “tong sui” and lunch during my stay in the hostel
69) There r frens who r willing 2 drive me around
70) There r frens who r willing 2 bring me 2 Bukit Bendera although they hv been there b4
71) There is a fren who accompanied (n guarded me…hey she did man!) me 2 see the doc. when I was damn sick during my industrial training
72) I was in charge of the “prompter” in one of the Sports program of TV “Mu Ne”(Tamil)
73) I hv been an extra in the teaser of Anugerah Bintang Popular :P
74) There is a fren who put a blanket on me when I was asleep on the sofa
75) When I was in need, there r frens who said: “Hey! This is what u call fren la! Why haven’t u thought of me? I can…ect”
76) I covered games like sepak takraw, football, & basketball during my L.I.
77) I hv been a member of the team who did the UEFA Champions League, Formula 1 & NBA Basketball (direct transmission)
78) I hv been in the Camera Control Unit (CCU) and studio, seeing the process of how a Life programme is conducted
79) I know how 2 edit visuals (betacam tape) using the old machine
80) I’ve learnt a little about Non-linear Editing (oh, my!! It’s fantastic as many things r made possible just BEING IN the editing room!)
81) I hv met & worked with professionals (producers, BJ, AP, cameramen, technicians, lighting men, host, presenters, audio person-yeah, there r women!)
82) I took the fastest (430km/hour) Shanghai Maglev Train b4
83) I went up 2 the
84) I felt so good when I finally hv the appetite to eat!
85) I hv seen the biggest Buddha statue in the world
86) I met with an accident (me & my frens r safe, but the car…hoiyo!)
87) I felt so good 2 b able 2 drink all the soups from home
88) I hv experience in interviewing the public when the camera was on
89) Those works that I hv edited went on TV!
90) I hv gone through earthquakes(
91) I hv experience in collecting 1 sen & 5 sen donations in campus (yeah! Unique right? The whole project only accept these 2 type of coins & I manage 2 collect more than RM100 over)
92) There r students who drew me pictures & gave me cards when I was teaching at kindergarten
93) I hv watched films which gave me hope in life:

97) I was deeply hurt by a close fren n was in light depression for almost 2 years - finally I gave myself a chance 2 let go n heal
98) On my 21th birthday, there r 2 frens who gave me an unforgettable present – a mini chocolate cake n a candle which will never fade in my memory
99) BB once told me that he will fight all those ppl who bully me n I know this lad mean it although he was only 3 years old
