Hah?...What??!!!

1. I was hving a nap that hot afternoon. Suddenly, I heard somebd yelling desperately. I thought I was dreaming. But then, the voice was increasingly tense n when I could finally recognized it, it was actually BB shouting from dowm stairs!! I dashed down immediately n saw him shouting towards sth outside the window. I know it must b sth horrible. Then MO told me that there’s a few students outside there who were hitting the black dog.

Then, without second thought, all of us went outside the house. We try 2 stop those students by yelling at them at the high pitch. When I could finally see what had happened, I was shocked. I’m sure it will take a long time 4 me 2 forget that scene.

A guy with glasses was holding a steering lock while his fren was hitting the dog with a baseball stick which was already full of blood. They were very angry when they see other residents started turning up. I swear I will never forget the madness in their eyes when they walked towards us. It made me understand what is hell. I know they were not aware of what on earth they were doing.

I was really scared seeing their craziness. Those guys (I can’t accept the fact that they r stuent! They r not!) said that black dog raped their pet so they hv 2 do sth. We told him that MO was once bitten by that dog but we didn’t kill it , instead we take precautions cos’ that’s an animal, not a human who could think! They finally stop hitting the dogs when some other students turned up n advice them not 2 do it.

The whole issue is over. Or so I thought! After 2 months, the black dog was killed by the same group of guys. The neighbours told us that. The only thing I can do was pray: may those ppl know what they r actually doing.

Then, last week those guys’ pet was killed by a car when it dashed out from the house. Those ppl weren’t around n they left their pet 2 their neighbour. I heard their neighbour has no idea how 2 tell them the incident when they returne. Isn’t this ironic? …Somebd is watching up there.

2. When I’m on holiday, one of the usual activity on sat. is the yam cha (Cantonese) hour at mamak stall with the N gang. As it has been a long time since we last met, so I tried my best 2 update myself with the happenings among my frens.

I was told that C has recently gave birth 2 a baby girl. I was surprised as I’ve never heard that she married. I thought mayb it’s my fault 4 not being home 4 such a long time. Then, frens told me that she didn’t get married but decided 2 keep the child. Immediately, I understand what had happened. Again! Irresponsible man.

When a fren showed me the baby girl’s photo, I know this child will b strong n cheerful like her mom. I salute C for her courage 2 keep the child. It wasn’t easy 4 a girl in our age to make such a tough decision. I pray again: may C & her baby girl b happy n in the best of health.

3. During my L.I. at TV “Mu Ne” (Tamil), my course mate, SS. was in the same department as me. We hv been knowing each other since 1^st years cos’ she stays in IK n is also doing the same major like me. So, it is natural 2 see us always sticking together whenever we go. If the producers gave her assignments, she will ask me along. The same goes 2 me.

However, those ppl in the office don’t like that. Honestly, even until now I still can’t figure out izzit really unusual 2 see ppl with diff. skins lepak around n b frens? Cos’ rumours started 2 spread : saying that we r lesbians.

Just imagine my reaction, Yeah! I was like the gold fish in MG’s aquarium, this gossip is too much that I even forgot how 2 breath. At first I thought mayb we got the wrong info, but when those producers started saying : “Eh! U dua org tak payah pergi assignment berdua-duaan la!” or “lal, pls edit this visual in…eh! SS u r here too, both of u cannot separate one hor…”

All this while, I’ve been the subjects of many nonsense but this is really damn too much la man!! Hoooi!! i still gotta get marry one la, those ppl r really too free!! Trainees like us also wanna kacau!! DNS (cantonese: it’s Diew!! Ni ah sing!)

hoho..a fren that I’ve know 4 almost 15 years once said that : haiya, lal will never learn how 2 speak any foul language. But, u see when u r damn angry n u hv a grandpa n MG who r always saying this when they talkat home, u’ll somehow learn the skills too! (wait a minute, I only use DNS when I drive la)

4. It was early in the morning, err… to b exact, it is actually 8:30am. As usual, I woke up in a ½ conscious state n jumped in the car, following my family out 4 breakfast. The journey is normally the time 2 exchange gossips & that day was MG’s turn 2 b the storyteller.

“I had my meals at xxx restaurant the other day when u guys r in the T. suburb. When I was about 2 leave, I saw Pirate with another young girl. I didn’t greet him n I’m sure he pretended as though he doesn’t see me. That girl must b his new wife cos’ xxx told me tat girl is his neighbour’s niece tat Pirate took as his 2^nd wife……….”

I forgot what MG said afterwards cos I was fully awake then. Pirate is an uncle that stays around the neighbourhood. We gave him this nick cos’ his looks is as “sway” as a greedy pirate. (PLZ, don’t misunderstand, he’s definitely NOT the Johnny Depp type ar!!!) - fat, old, haggard, grayish hair, big stomach, aiya u name it la, he has all the ugly qualities! (I’m trying 2 b mean but that’s the truth!)

His daughter E. is a friend of mine n his wife used 2 car pool with my mom 2 send us 2 school. Aunty is a very beautiful lady, she’s fair n thin. I mean homemaker usually ends up like the cute cute MO in my family. But aunty is really thin. I admire her driving skills n her car plate will always reminds u of the shark tale.

My point is, aft listening 2 MG, I was really angry n worried.

a) How can tat fat pirate do such thing 2 aunty? It’s so cruel!!

b) What would hv become 2 E. n her siblings- seeing their father married another woman who’s almost the same age as them?

c) What is in that young lady’s mind? I ‘m really curious, seriously. Perhaps, it’s love (uuurghh, I wanna vomit liao!), perhaps it’s money (this is more likely) perhaps both parties r just on a barter system deal: they r just getting what they want.

d) Is this just a rumour? I hope it is. Cos’ news like this is bad!

I’m very sure this will change E. n her family, the mark that her father left behind will b there 4 a lifetime. I just wanna pray, may the courage always b with her , may she become strong enough n move on….
